Data deletion

How to delete the data PostStride holds about you · Updated October 6, 2026

PostStride is operated by LLAMA AI LTD.

Disconnect a social account

Sign in to PostStride, open Accounts and click Disconnect next to the account. This removes the saved connection, profile and publishing destination records from the active application database, and stops pending publishing to that connection. Your PostStride account, captions and uploaded files remain available, including any used by other connected accounts. Delete post records in Queue; use the account-deletion option below to remove your uploaded files and whole PostStride account.

For YouTube, we immediately request revocation of the Google authorization and give you a deletion status link. This also disconnects other PostStride channel connections using that same Google authorization, including copies used by another PostStride account. Connections with independent Google authorizations are not removed merely because they manage the same channel. If revocation fails, we retry it with an encrypted token kept only for this purpose and erased on success or by the request’s seven-day deadline. Unresolved revocation is shown as needing attention, not as completed.

Remove PostStride from the platform

When we receive a valid revocation or deletion notice from Instagram or Threads, we automatically remove the saved connection as described above. We check connected YouTube authorizations daily; when we detect lost access, we remove the affected connections and start cleanup of their publishing data. If authorization cannot be reconfirmed for 28 days, cleanup starts automatically with a deadline no later than 30 days after the last successful check. Disconnect YouTube in PostStride as well if you want cleanup to start immediately. For TikTok, disconnect in PostStride to remove its saved connection and publishing destinations.

Delete your PostStride account

  1. Sign in and open Accounts.
  2. Under Delete your PostStride account, select Delete account….
  3. Read what will be removed, type DELETE, and confirm permanent deletion.

Your account, connections and post records are removed from the active database and you are signed out. Uploaded files and recorded publishing workflows enter a durable cleanup process with a seven-calendar-day deadline. Revoking Google access also disconnects other channels sharing your Google authorization. You are taken to a public status page; keep that link to check the remaining cleanup.

If you cannot sign in or need help deleting your data, email support@poststride.app from the address you signed up with so we can verify ownership and help with your request.

Understand the deletion status

Posts already published to a platform stay there; delete them on the platform.

These status messages cover active application storage and recorded workflow instances. Cloudflare D1 recovery history can retain deleted database records for up to 30 days. Logs and other infrastructure recovery copies follow the hosting provider’s retention settings. The seven-day cleanup deadline is not a claim that every backup copy is erased within seven days. Minimal deletion receipts and task identifiers may remain to show cleanup status. Media responses can be cached for up to 24 hours, and copies previously downloaded by others may remain.

Meta deletion confirmations cover removal of the saved social connection, not deletion of your entire PostStride account or shared content. We retain only a confirmation-code hash, platform name and completion time for the status lookup; the receipt contains no account identifiers or post content.
